Del Arca was born in October 1995 in Romania. As a child, Del always spaced out and started creating worlds and stories from the shape of clouds and the rustling of leaves. Their first written fantasy story lay on the page in second grade, on a calligraphic school notebook and with a Chinese fountain pen, destined to be read by their grandmother - she never did.
Reading came naturally along with the reveries, and the alternative worlds became part of their reality. Their reading criteria was always simple: if it has words, it is for reading. However, reading and daydreaming soon became a burden, since Del decided to lead a more practical life by attending a technical high school and obtaining a university degree in Physics. After finishing the Master's in Physics for Advance Technologies, Del dedicated themselves to the world of engineering, becoming a professional in system development and traveling the world through their work. But reveries pushed their magic into their lives despite all the distractions such as becoming an AIESEC volunteer, getting married, or aiming for higher goals in their engineering career.
But the time came when Del had to agree with Kafka's famous quote that 'A non-writing writer is a monster courting insanity'. Del started writing full novels in 2019 as a need to let out some of the stories flooding their mind. Their stories are genre blends, mostly between SF and fantasy.
Del is currently living in Switzerland as an engineer during the day and a writer during the night. They have been aiming to bring to light their fiction works since 2023 and still struggling to learn how social media works.
